This is one of the best Cd’s Yellowcard has dropped to date. For older fans Paper Walls will put a massive smile accross your face. On Paper Walls album, Yellowcard have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Exciting stuff.
All of songs on Paper Walls and have something to say letting alone Cut Me, Mick. The opening track You and Me and One Spotlight is very much like you would expect from other albums. Yellowcard has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Once you hear Date Line (I Am Gone), you will listen to it over and over. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Five Becomes Four has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Shadows and Regrets is such a gorgeous and optimistic song that things can get just better. Light Up the Sky - Yellowcard first major hit. Keeper on Paper Walls is solid and easy to listen to. Still going through Paper Walls and coming to appreciate Fighting more and more with every listen. Shrink the World gives good insight into the truths. The Takedown has a beautifully haunting disco flavor.
