Since completing 2007’s ‘Come Back’, Xavier Rudd fulfilled their contract with Sparrow Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Since Xavier Rudd last CD (White Moth) on Sparrow Records back in 2007, I have felt a massive void in my life. For older fans White Moth will put a massive smile accross your face. One of Xavier Rudd’s best albums yet.
In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Xavier Rudd. I believe Whispers is one of the most perfect, heartfelt songs ever written. Set It Up was the first single release from the album White Moth. I now have Message Stick as one of my personal favorites. Anni Kookoo - For me, this is the best of the album. When listening to Land Rights, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Footprint - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. I can’t stop playing White Moth. Come Let Go - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Xavier Rudd emotions are reflected through Better People. Twist is the more seemingly obscure song on White Moth that bear up best to repeated listening. I like Stargaze because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming.
