Self-described as Rock: Hard-Rock with lots of words, Velvet Revolver comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. While no new Velvet Revolver album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2007 tour in Australia. This is the first studio album from Velvet Revolver since bad diagnosis in 2007. Libertad is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
She Mine as a highlight of Libertad contains a ton of exquisite melodies. Get Out The Door is a very catchy tune. She Builds Quick Machines is the exquisite blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. The Last Fight is a very catchy tune. Pills, Demons & Etc. the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Mary Mary is the song that really did it for me. Just Sixteen is simple, dignified and effective, Velvet Revolver refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Velvet Revolver rocks harder than ever with For A Brother. Get Libertad and turn on Spay if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Gravedancer is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle.
