I am not a real Dance music type of person, but i have to admit ‘War Stories’ really is amazing. While no new Unkle album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2007 tour in South America. There is no doubt that Unkle has talent. This album is in perfect progression from Unkle!
Chemistry - A catchy, upbeat tune. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on War Stories is Hold My Hand. Restless has a fun tempo. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Keys To The Kingdom. Musically Price You Pay is superior to other tracks in War Stories. The first time I listened to Burn My Shadow I was struck by its astounding sound. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Persons & Machinery is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. I hope to keep hearing Unkle works for a long time to come. Morning Rage actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Unkle’s face. Although Lawless is very melodic it is far from sad. Broken is a astounding song and it grows on you. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Untitled is perfect.
