Tim McGraw was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Tim McGraw and Greatest Hits Vol. 2 together. There is so much to love about Tim McGraw, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Greatest Hits Vol. 2 carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Enjoy the show.
My Old Friend - For me, this is the best of the album. Like We Never Loved Before feat. Faith Hill is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. The Cowboy In Me is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Tim McGraw ever produced. When The Stars Go Blue is the cool blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Tim McGraw allows each song to breathe and flourish. It’s a great pleasure to listen to She’s My Kind Of Rain from the beginning to the end. Simple and heartfelt closing track Grown Men Don’t Cry closes Greatest Hits Vol. 2 on a high note. Not A Moment Too Soon is perfect. After few listenings I started to like Watch The Wind Blow By more and more. Over and Over feat. Nelly is probably the highlight of the album. Everywhere is pretty funky and mellow. Tim McGraw has astounded me with this amazing track. Red Ragtop hits the heart. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Greatest Hits Vol. 2 is My Little Girl. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with I’ve Got Friends That Do (Bonus).
