This is one of the best Cd’s The Strokes has dropped to date. This fifteen-song debut EP shows the promise that The Strokes has. When you buy a The Strokes album, you know exactly what you’re getting! I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Music in Juicebox is cool as in all tracks of First Impressions of Earth. I like to sing along with Heart In A Cage, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. All of songs on First Impressions of Earth and have something to say letting alone Razorblade. On The Other Side - The Strokes first major hit. Vision Of Division was the first single release from the album First Impressions of Earth. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Ask Me Anything is my favorite song on First Impressions of Earth. I find myself hearing bits of Electricityscape here and there throughout my waking hours. After you’ve listened to Killing Lies, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Fear Of Sleep - This is a very lively song. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Evening Sun - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Don’t judge Red Light on the first listening.
