There is no doubt that The Postal Service has talent. This disc has all of the essential The Postal Service classics. On Give Up album, The Postal Service have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This is my first The Postal Service Album and i must say i am blown away.
Such Great Heights is probably the highlight of the album. Excellent vocals and musical performances. The Postal Service has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Reclycled Air is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Only one song from Give Up named Clark Gable really got me. We Will Become Silhouettes is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. This Place Is A Prison gives good insight into the truths. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Natural Anthem hits the heart.
