The Notorious B.I.G. was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from The Notorious B.I.G. and Greatest Hits together. This album has some very good songs like Juicy and Big poppa. This is the first studio album from The Notorious B.I.G. since bad diagnosis in 2007. To me The Notorious B.I.G. is the best band ever.
Don’t judge Big poppa on the first listening. Hypnotized marked the continuation of The Notorious B.I.G. in style evolution. One More Chance/Stay With Me Remix is The Notorious B.I.G.’s best work in years. Get money f/Junior MA.F.I.A. is a good listen every once in a while. Once Warning gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Dead Wrong f/Eminem. Who Shot Ya actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on The Notorious B.I.G.’s face. Ten Crack Commandments gets you up and jumping. I now have Notorious Thugs as one of my personal favorites. It’s such an underrated song. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Greatest Hits. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Runnin Ya Mouth f/Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, Foxy Brown, Fabolous & Busta Rhymes (unreleased) is one of these floating songs. In Want That Old Thing Back f/Ja Rule & Ralph Tresvant (unreleased) you won’t find any flashy solos. Greatest Hits couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Fu**ing You Tonight f/R. Kelly.
