John Digester has compared writing for The Coral’s new album to that on ‘Roots and Echoes’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. While no new The Coral album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2007 tour in Africa. It’s natural for The Coral to take a stab at ‘Who’s Gonna Find Me’ considering her long-professed love for East 17. To me The Coral is the best band ever.
Remember Me is one of the best records ever. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Put The Sun Back because the melody in the chorus is so good. All of songs on Roots and Echoes and have something to say letting alone Jacqueline. Fireflies is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. The Coral offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Not So Lonely is really the reason why I recommend buying Roots and Echoes. Cobwebs is a bit different from The Coral stereotypical stuff. Rebecca You is a song to enjoy for years to come. So much energy, so exciting a sound.This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor.
