This disc has all of the essential The Black Eyed Peas classics. On the Canada charts, superstar The Black Eyed Peas’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. There is so much to love about The Black Eyed Peas, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Exciting stuff.
Don’t Phunk With My Heart is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Monkey Business. My Style (feat. Justin Timberlake) is cool work of The Black Eyed Peas. Don’t Lie is perfect. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Like That (feat. Cee-Lo, John Legend, Talib Kweli and Q-Tip) is probably the most interesting track on Monkey Business. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Dum Diddly is my favorite song on Monkey Business. Feel It is a medium tempo tune. Gone Going (feat. Jack Johnson) is simply marvelous. They Don’t Want Music (feat. James Brown) is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Disco Club make listening to The Black Eyed Peas like being in some sort of time warp. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Ba Bump has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Audio Delite At Low Fidelity - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Union (feat. Sting) I just LOVE this mix! Do What You Want is the funkiest number on the album.
