On Let it be album, The Beatles have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Lead single “Across The Universe” and “I Me Mine” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. When you buy a The Beatles album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Check it every song is worth the money for the Let it be CD!
I Me Mine had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Dig A Pony - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Two Of Us - For me, this is the best of the album. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with For You Blue. One After 909 is a medium tempo tune. Long And Winding Road is one of the best records ever. I’ve Got A Feeling is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. I can’t stop playing Let It Be. Voice of The Beatles in Maggie Mae is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Although Dig It is very melodic it is far from sad. Get Back is a bit of a show-tune.
