While no new The Beatles album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2004 tour in Australia. After seeing No Reply, I had to have a good The Beatles cd. This disc has all of the essential The Beatles classics. This is one of The Beatles best albums
I’m A Loser is one of these floating songs. Nice and different song. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. I’ll Follow The Sun is one of the coolest songs The Beatles has ever recorded. The sound of Mr. Moonlight is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Medley- Kansas City - Hey, Hey is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Eight Days A Week is pretty funky and mellow. It’s such an underrated song. Honey Don’t is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Lyrics of Every Little Thing are precise and evocative. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Beatles For Sale. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is What You’re Doing because the melody in the chorus is so good. Everybody’s Trying To Be My Ba is probably the most interesting track on Beatles For Sale.
