This album has some very good songs like Psycho Killer and Take Me To The River. Self-described as Alternative with lots of words, Talking Heads comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Talking Heads had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Overall, I would highly recommend The Best Of: Once In A Lifetime CD.
First time I heard Take Me To The River was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Once In A Lifetime is one of the more up-tempo songs on The Best Of: Once In A Lifetime. This song stands out greatly from the others. This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody) is probably the most interesting track on The Best Of: Once In A Lifetime. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Life During Wartime (Live) - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. And She Was is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Road To Nowhere is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Wild Wild Life is the first taste of the new album. Blind gets you up and jumping. (Nothing But) Flowers is the more seemingly obscure song on The Best Of: Once In A Lifetime that bear up best to repeated listening. Sax and Violins is a bit different from Talking Heads stereotypical stuff. Lifetime Piling Up is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction.
