This album has some very good songs like Zephyr & I and Ludlow Street. Self-described as Rock with lots of words, Suzanne Vega comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This is the first studio album from Suzanne Vega since bad diagnosis in 2007. IT makes me wanna dance!
Ludlow Street is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is New York Is A Woman because the melody in the chorus is so good. You can find feelings on this piece of art. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Edith Wharton’s Figurine - This one makes me want to not only sing along. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Unbound presents the marvelous mix of instruments on Beauty and Crime. Get Beauty and Crime and turn on As You Are Now if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Angel’s Doorway (2:55) - awsome. Vocals of Suzanne Vega in Anniversary really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm.
