Once carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. While no new Soundtrack - Various Artists album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2007 tour in Asia. It’s natural for Soundtrack - Various Artists to take a stab at ‘Falling Slowly (Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova)’ considering her long-professed love for Led Zeppelin. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
First time I heard If You Want Me (Marketa Irglova and Glen Hansard) was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Still going through Once and coming to appreciate Broken Hearted Hoover Fixer Sucker Guy (Glen Hansard) more and more with every listen. When Your Mind’s Made Up (Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova) catches attention immediately, Lies (Glen Hansard) is excellent work of Soundtrack - Various Artists. The song Gold (Interference) ending is my favorite… so catchy! You have to get essence of the The Hill (Marketa Irglova)’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Fallen Form the Sky (Glen Hansard) is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. This song may be the most meaningful. Trying to Pull Myself Away (Glen Hansard) gives good insight into the truths. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Once (Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova) - A catchy, upbeat tune. Say it to Me Now (Glen Hansard) hits the heart.
