Self-described as Pop: Pop-Rock with lots of words, Snow Patrol comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. ‘When It’s All Over We Still Have to Clear Up’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Snow Patrol’s debut, ‘When It’s All Over We Still Have to Clear Up’, does not fit easily into one genre. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Ask Me How I Am
First time I heard Ask Me How I Am was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Making Enemies is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Snow Patrol released so far. Black and Blue - arguably the best track on When It’s All Over We Still Have to Clear Up album. This track is clearly meant to showcase Snow Patrol’s vocal abilities. I find myself hearing bits of If I’d Found The Right Words To Say here and there throughout my waking hours. Batten Down The Hatch is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. I love the melodic melody of One Night Is Not Enough and to this day it makes me feel good. Chased By…. I Don’t Know What still maintains something of a specific flourish. On/Off without a doubt is the standout song of When It’s All Over We Still Have to Clear Up. Olive Grove Facing The Sea is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. When It’s All Over We Still Have To Clear Up - For me, this is the best of the album. Make Love To Me Forever is astounding. Firelight - Okay, I just talked about depth.
