On the Slovenia charts, superstar Ryan Adams’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Ryan Adams energies, virtually a rebirth. This -song debut EP shows the promise that Ryan Adams has. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is California (Mix 1)
After few listenings I started to like California (Mix 1) more and more. Charming song, great melody. Tractor Beam gives good insight into the truths. Nice and different song. Goodbye Honey - This one makes me want to not only sing along. This song is dynamic and dramatic. When listening to Lash Out, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. All My Fault (Mix 2) has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Personal Hygiene is one of the best records ever. I listened to the opening track Chinese Pomo Srappy and liked it a lot. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Exile On Franklin Street. The Last Dance still maintains something of a specific flourish. I Know Where I Live is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Why You Wanna Lemme Down - Ryan Adams first major hit. Listen To The Radio is pretty funky and mellow. Secret Powers - I like this one. Blankets Of Booze is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Waves Crashing is really the reason why I recommend buying Exile On Franklin Street. Still going through Exile On Franklin Street and coming to appreciate Chocked Up more and more with every listen. Don’t Ask For The Water very upbeat. Tell Me How You Want Me is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Ryan Adams released so far. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely.
