This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Roxette. Collection of Roxette Hits: Their 20 Greatest Songs carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Since completing 2006’s ‘Milk and Toast and Honey (Single Master)’, Roxette fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Collection of Roxette Hits: Their 20 Greatest Songs.
Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Reveal is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Sleeping In My Car (Single Version) hits the heart. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. This track is full of harmonies and gets Collection of Roxette Hits: Their 20 Greatest Songs off to a relaxing start. Wish I Could Fly is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. All of songs on Collection of Roxette Hits: Their 20 Greatest Songs and have something to say letting alone Stars (G.M. Remaster ‘03). Centre Of The Heart (G.M. Remaster ‘03) is the albums biggest surprise. I have all of Roxette’s tracks and Listen To Your Heart (Swedish Single Edit) is probably the most his introspective effort. Excellent vocals and musical performances. It Must Have Been Love - Roxette first major hit. This song may be the most meaningful. Fading Like A Flower (Every Time You Leave) is astounding. Spending My Time - a classic song. How Do You Do! is one of the best records ever. Almost Unreal - This one makes me want to not only sing along. One Wish is possibly the best song Roxette has come up. Look is the most memorable and astounding. Nice and different song.
