This album has some very good songs like It’s A Hit and Does He Love You. This is the first studio album from Rilo Kiley since bad diagnosis in 2004. When you buy a Rilo Kiley album, you know exactly what you’re getting! One of Rilo Kiley’s best albums yet.
This song may be the most meaningful. Portions For Foxes - To me, this is the best song on the More Adventurous. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Ripchord. I Never has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Rilo Kiley’s strong vocals come to the fore. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Accidntel Deth gives good insight into the truths. More Adventurous - This is a very lively song. Once you hear Love and War (11/11/46), you will listen to it over and over. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. It Just Is - arguably the best track on More Adventurous album.
