It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Rage Against The Machine energies, virtually a rebirth. After seeing Guerrilla Radio, I had to have a good Rage Against The Machine cd. It has been fifteen years Rage Against The Machine’ last studio CD, “Platinum Collection 2000″ which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. I Love Platinum Collection 2000 from start to finish!
Killing In The Name is a striking and quite long song. People Of The Sun is a good listen every once in a while. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Bullet In The Head is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. The first time I listened to The Ghost Of Tom Joad I was struck by its excellent sound. Sleep Now In The Fire is outstanding work of Rage Against The Machine. Bombtrack has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Bulls On Parade - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. The sound in Born Of A Broken Man is really warm and Rage Against The Machine’s signature voice is still very much present. Rage Against The Machine rocks harder than ever with Freedom. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Platinum Collection 2000. Know Your Enemy the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Once Down Rodeo gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Take The Power Back - A strong beat.
