This is the first studio album from Prince since bad diagnosis in 2004. Since Prince last CD (The Slaughterhouse) on ForeFront Records back in 2004, I have felt a massive void in my life. Prince had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Enjoy the show.
S&M Groove is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Y Should Eye Do That When Eye Can Do This is a perfect, simple song by Prince at the top of his game. I believe Golden Parachute is one of the most exquisite, heartfelt songs ever written. Hypnoparadise is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Props N’ Pounds is the most memorable and gorgeous. This song may be the most meaningful. After few listenings I started to like Peace more and more. 2045 Radical Man is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with The Daisy Chain. Get The Slaughterhouse and turn on Welcome 2 The Slaughterhouse if you are going to sip your wine late at night.
