Lead single “Hey There Delilah” and “Last Call” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. It’s natural for Plain White T’s to take a stab at ‘Hey There Delilah’ considering her long-professed love for UB40. Since Plain White T’s last CD (All That We Needed) on Savoy Records back in 2005, I have felt a massive void in my life. This is my first Plain White T’s Album and i must say i am blown away.
Last Call is a bit of a show-tune. Faster is probably one of Plain White T’s’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Sing My Best (2:52) - awsome. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Nice and different song. Opening track What More Do You Want? shows the best of Plain White T’s. Breakdown actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Plain White T’s’s face. After few listenings I started to like Sad Story more and more. My Only One is just simply stunning. Take Me Away - To me, this is the best song on the All That We Needed. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Album opener All That We Needed is a bright, upbeat ditty.
