Stanley Donwood has compared writing for Pink Floyd’s new album to that on ‘Echoes: The Best Of Pink Floyd (CD 2)’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. IF YOU LIKE ALL Pink Floyd’S SONG GO FOR IT! For older fans Echoes: The Best Of Pink Floyd (CD 2) will put a massive smile accross your face. This album is awesome.
Pink Floyd has astounded me with this amazing track. Fletcher Memorial Home, The which is my favorite is a truly Pink Floyd sounding song. I have all of Pink Floyd’s tracks and Comfortably Numb is probably the most his introspective effort. When Tigers Broke Free is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. One Of These Days is such a excellent and optimistic song that things can get just better. Us and Them gets you up and jumping. Pink Floyd sings Learning To Fly in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Within the first few notes of Arnold Layne it’s perfectly clear that Pink Floyd is living this song. Wish You Were Here very upbeat. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Jugband Blues is my favorite song on Echoes: The Best Of Pink Floyd (CD 2). The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Bike - My least favorite song on this album.
