On A Saucerful Of Secrets album, Pink Floyd have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Pink Floyd on ‘Let There Be More Lignt’. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Pink Floyd energies, virtually a rebirth. A Saucerful Of Secrets is not something you should pass up.
From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. The song Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun ending is my favorite… so catchy! Corporal Clegg is a striking and quite long song. A Saucerful Of Secrets to me is the best you can get from Pink Floyd. See-Saw makes a person feel exquisite. Jugband Blues is perfect.
