Since completing 2007’s ‘Dance Tonight’, Paul McCartney fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Since Paul McCartney last CD (Memory Almost Full) on Savoy Records back in 2007, I have felt a massive void in my life. For older fans Memory Almost Full will put a massive smile accross your face. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Ever Present Past is outstanding work of Paul McCartney. See Your Sunshine is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Album opener Only Mama Knows is a bright, upbeat ditty. You Tell Me is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Gratitude is such a astounding and optimistic song that things can get just better. Vintage Clothes - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. No Paul McCartney song has come close to capturing my attention as That Was Me did. Feet In The Clouds is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. This song is dynamic and dramatic. The End Of The End - another great track from the Memory Almost Full album. Simple and heartfelt closing track Nod Your Head closes Memory Almost Full on a high note.
