Since Patti Smith last CD (Twelve) on Savoy Records back in 2007, I have felt a massive void in my life. Twelve carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. For older fans Twelve will put a massive smile accross your face. This is my first Patti Smith Album and i must say i am blown away.
Everybody Wants To Rule The World is one of my favorite songs by Patti Smith. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Gimme Shelter is worth the money. Within You Without You - I just love it. Blew our minds when we first heard White Rabbit. Changing Of The Guards without a doubt is the standout song of Twelve. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Lyrics of Soul Kitchen are precise and evocative. I loved Smells Like Teen Spirit the first time I heard it. There is cool mix of music in Midnight Rider. This song may be the most meaningful.
