ten years ago, Ozzy Osbourne briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “I Don’t Wanna Stop”. It’s natural for Ozzy Osbourne to take a stab at ‘Not Going Away’ considering her long-professed love for Babylon Zoo. Black Rain isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Not Going Away and I Don’t Wanna Stop is really good.
The sound in I Don’t Wanna Stop is really warm and Ozzy Osbourne’s signature voice is still very much present. Black Rain is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Simple and heartfelt closing track Lay Your World on Me closes Black Rain on a high note. Almighty Dollar - This is a very lively song. 11 Silver - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. I hope to keep hearing Ozzy Osbourne works for a long time to come. I loved Here for You the first time I heard it. Countdown’s Begun is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Trap Door one of the best in my collection.
