It has been three years Norah Jones’ last studio CD, “Feels Like Home” which won Array Emmy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This is one of the best Cd’s Norah Jones has dropped to date. Since completing 2004’s ‘Sunrise’, Norah Jones fulfilled their contract with Virgin Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Such great and happy songs.
I like to sing along with What Am I To You, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. In Those Sweet Words Norah Jones spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Carnival Town is so unique, as each one of the songs is. I love the melodic melody of In The Morning and to this day it makes me feel good. In Be Here To Love Me full palet of sound is used by Norah Jones to accentuate the presentation. Creepin’ In is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Feels Like Home. Toes Just Touch The Water is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Norah Jones released so far. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Humble Me is my favorite song on Feels Like Home. Norah Jones sings Above Ground in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. The Long Way Home is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Put The Prettiest Thing into car stereo for your highway driving Don’t Miss You At All very upbeat.
