Since MOBY last CD (Go: The Very Best of Moby) on EMI Records back in 2006, I have felt a massive void in my life. Now signed to MOBY’s EMI Records, the title track from second album “Go: The Very Best of Moby” leads MOBY’s back-to-school campaign. When you buy a MOBY album, you know exactly what you’re getting! MOBY “Go: The Very Best of Moby” is an amazing album.
It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Go-2006, which shows, blatantly, how much MOBY has evolved as a singer. Porcelain is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Dream About Me is one of the more up-tempo songs on Go: The Very Best of Moby. New York, New York - For me, this is the best of the album. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Beautiful is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Extreme Ways is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. This is probably my favorite song on the album. MOBY has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. In Honey MOBY spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Album opener Lift Me Up is a bright, upbeat ditty. Feeling So Real (Live In London) as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. MOBY sings God Moving Over The Face Of The Waters in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Bodyrock (Olav Basoski’s Da Hot Funk Da Freak Funk Remix) is the more seemingly obscure song on Go: The Very Best of Moby that bear up best to repeated listening. MOBY rocks harder than ever with Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad (Ferry Corsten Remix). I think Natural Blues (Perfecto Dub) is the best song MOBY has ever done. I like to sing along with South Side (Pete Heller Park Lane Dub), though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. We Are All Made Of Stars (Timo Maas Vocal Remix) - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Extreme Ways (DJ Tiestos Vocal Remix) is astounding. If you are a MOBY fan, you will love Jam For The Ladies (Nevins Club Blaster Mix). MOBY has astounded me with this amazing track. Raining Again (Steve Angellos Vocal Mix) is simply gorgeous. In Dream About Me (Booka Shade Remix) full palet of sound is used by MOBY to accentuate the presentation. Slipping Away (Axwell Vocal Mix) is perfect song though, very addictive.
