For older fans On a Clear Night will put a massive smile accross your face. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Missy Higgins energies, virtually a rebirth. This disc has all of the essential Missy Higgins classics. Exciting stuff.
I find myself hearing bits of 100 Round The Bends here and there throughout my waking hours. Steer as a highlight of On a Clear Night contains a ton of marvelous melodies. Sugarcane is pretty funky and mellow. Secret is simply cool. Warm Whispers is perfect. Wrong Girl - A strong beat. Angela is a medium tempo tune. Peachy - a classic song. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Forgive Me is another strong production from Missy Higgins.
