ABC is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. The Love You Save is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Album opener Got To Be There is a bright, upbeat ditty. Rockin’ Robin is the funkiest number on the album. In Ben it becomes nowhere more obvious that Michael Jackson has yet to define own style. Blame It On The Boogie - Check out that bassline! There is astounding mix of music in Shake Your Body (Down To The Ground). Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Off The Wall was the first single release from the album The Essential Michael Jackson. Rock With You is a bit of a show-tune. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Lyrics of The Girl Is Mine are precise and evocative. Billie Jean is a fine track on any terms. Beat It is a good listen every once in a while. Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’ the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Human Nature has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing) is the more seemingly obscure song on The Essential Michael Jackson that bear up best to repeated listening. I Just Can’t Stop Loving You is one of my favorite songs by Michael Jackson. I now have Thriller as one of my personal favorites. Put Bad into car stereo for your highway driving The Way You Make Me Feel is exquisite song though, very addictive. Man In The Mirror is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in The Essential Michael Jackson. Some of the arrangements found on The Essential Michael Jackson are surprisingly edgy. When I listen to Smooth Criminal in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Music and lyrics of Leave Me Alone creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Michael Jackson rocks harder than ever with Black Or White. Get The Essential Michael Jackson and turn on Remember The Time if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Who Is It is probably the highlight of the album. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Michael Jackson. One listen to the sheer beauty of You Are Not Alone was all I needed. Earth Song is pretty funky and mellow. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. You Rock My World - arguably the best track on The Essential Michael Jackson album.
