Now signed to Madonna’s Savoy Records, the title track from second album “The Immaculate Collection” leads Madonna’s back-to-school campaign. Self-described as Dance with lots of words, Madonna comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Ivan Grach has compared writing for Madonna’s new album to that on ‘The Immaculate Collection’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. The Immaculate Collection is the best essence of Madonna.
I came to like Lucky Star. All of songs on The Immaculate Collection and have something to say letting alone Borderline. The Immaculate Collection couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Like A Virgin. Material Girl to me is the best you can get from Madonna. Crazy For You had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Put Into The Groove into car stereo for your highway driving After you’ve listened to Live To Tell, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Papa Don’t Preach is a very catchy tune. Open Your Heart is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. La Isla Bonita is the funkiest number on the album. Like A Prayer is nothing but pure genius. Express Yourself great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.It took me a little time but I ended up loving Cherish. I can’t stop playing Vogue. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in The Immaculate Collection. Madonna is hitting on all cylinders in Rescue Me.
