Now signed to Larry The Cable Guy’s EMI Records, the title track from second album “The Right to Bare Arms” leads Larry The Cable Guy’s back-to-school campaign. Larry The Cable Guy’s debut, ‘The Right to Bare Arms’, does not fit easily into one genre. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Larry The Cable Guy on ‘Git-R-Done!’. This is my first Larry The Cable Guy Album and i must say i am blown away.
I’ve found myself listening to Midgets And Gay Bars back to back and back many times. After you’ve listened to WWJD, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Hank Williams Jr. Hight School one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Hooters And Hooters Airlines actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Larry The Cable Guy’s face. Music of Dodge Truck, Airlines is gentle, never overbearing. The song Dodge Truck, Retards And Stinkbait ending is my favorite… so catchy! Album opener Nascar is a bright, upbeat ditty. This song is dynamic and dramatic. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Faith Healers And Weight Problems marked the continuation of Larry The Cable Guy in style evolution. Romance And Imported Rubbers (I Seen This On TV.. No Lie) is possibly the best song Larry The Cable Guy has come up. Larry The Cable Guy allows each song to breathe and flourish. Shavin’, Waxin’. Primpen And Shootin’ Quail! (This Is Funny. I Don’t Care Who Ya Are!) stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with News Items. I came to like Song For A Friend (And Other Things I Think About When I’m Hammered At 4:AM). Toddlers Mail is a marvelous sing-along.
