This twelve-song debut EP shows the promise that KT Tunstall has. Self-described as Pop with lots of words, KT Tunstall comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of KT Tunstall energies, virtually a rebirth. Drastic Fantastic is not something you should pass up.
Someday Soon is absolutely incredible. Although Beauty Of Uncertainty is very melodic it is far from sad. Get Drastic Fantastic and turn on Saving My Face if you are going to sip your wine late at night. I Don’t Want You Now is so unique, as each one of the songs is. After about the third Hopeless listen through, I began to believe this song is KT Tunstall’s essence. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Funnyman good vocals. White Bird is probably the most interesting track on Drastic Fantastic. If Only is one of the best records ever. Little Favours - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody.
