sixteen years ago, Kings Of Leon briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “King Of The Rodeo”. When you buy a Kings Of Leon album, you know exactly what you’re getting! It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Kings Of Leon energies, virtually a rebirth. This is what good Indie should be.
King Of The Rodeo has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Taper Jean Girl is possibly the best song Kings Of Leon has come up. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Pistol Of Fire from the beginning to the end. Milk is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Aha Shake Heartbreak have ended. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Razz is the first taste of the new album. Kings Of Leon must have run out of lyrics on the next track Day Old Blue. Four Kicks is another strong production from Kings Of Leon. Velvet Snow gives taste of what makes Kings Of Leon special as a musician. Rememo defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Once Where Nobody Knows gets in your head, it will NEVER leave.
