IF YOU LIKE ALL Killers’S SONG GO FOR IT! It’s natural for Killers to take a stab at ‘Sam’s Town’ considering her long-professed love for Orkrist. There is no doubt that Killers has talent. Overall, I would highly recommend Sam’s Town CD.
A fantastic track full of wonder. When You Were Young is another favourite of mine. Bling (Confessions Of A King) is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Once you hear For Reasons Unknown, you will listen to it over and over. Read My Mind is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Uncle Jonny can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Killers is all about. Bones very upbeat. When listening to My List, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. I listened to the opening track This River Is Wild and liked it a lot. Why Do I Keep Counting? (4:25) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Some of the arrangements found on Sam’s Town are surprisingly edgy. Where The White Boys Dance (Bonus Track) actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Killers’s face.
