There is no doubt that Killers has talent. It has been twelve years Killers’ last studio CD, “Hot Fuss” which won Array Academy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Hot Fuss carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This is what good Indie should be.
Mr Brightside is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Hot Fuss. You have to get essence of the Smile Like You Mean It’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Hot Fuss couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Somebody Told Me. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is All These Things That I’ve Done. Still going through Hot Fuss and coming to appreciate Andy, You’re A Star more and more with every listen. On Top is a bit of a show-tune. Vocals of Killers in Indie Rock and Roll really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Midnight Show is a striking and quite long song. Everything Will Be Alright is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever.
