Nine Million Bicycles has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Piece by Piece. In Halfway Up the Hindu Kush full palet of sound is used by Katie Melua to accentuate the presentation. There is cool mix of music in Blues in the Night. Spider’s Web is Katie Melua’s best work in years. I have all of Katie Melua’s tracks and Blue Shoes is probably the most his introspective effort. On the Road Again has a fun tempo. Thank You, Stars is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Katie Melua released so far. This track is clearly meant to showcase Katie Melua’s vocal abilities. Opening track I Cried for You shows the best of Katie Melua. I Do Believe in Love - I just love it.
