Now signed to Kate Nash’s Mute Records, the title track from second album “Made Of Bricks” leads Kate Nash’s back-to-school campaign. After seeing Nicest Thing, I had to have a good Kate Nash cd. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Kate Nash on ‘Nicest Thing’. This album is a scorcher!
I love the melodic melody of Merry Happy/Little Red and to this day it makes me feel good. Pumpkin Soup is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Skeleton Soup is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Music and lyrics of Shit Song creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Mariella - A strong beat. In We Get On Kate Nash is at his best. Birds - arguably the best track on Made Of Bricks album. Dickhead is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. You have to get essence of the Foundations’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. The song Play ending is my favorite… so catchy!
