I am not a real Rap: Hip-Hop music type of person, but i have to admit ‘London Town’ really is amazing. Since completing 2007’s ‘The Production of My Environment’, Kano fulfilled their contract with Virgin Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Since Kano last CD (London Town) on Virgin Records back in 2007, I have felt a massive void in my life. London Town touched my soul like nothing else.
London Town is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Buss It Up (4:46) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Music in Bad Boy is cool as in all tracks of London Town. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Fightin’ The Nation is my favorite song on London Town. Song Feel Free - Kano & Damon Albarn is actually a funny song. Kano sings Sleep Tight in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. This Is The Girl (Ft. Craig David) had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Me & My Microphone (Ft. Kate Nash) is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through London Town. Over And Over gives good insight into the truths. This Is My Life (Thin Line) gets you up and jumping.
