Since Jethro Tull last CD (The Best Of Acoustic Jethro Tull) on Columbia Records back in 2007, I have felt a massive void in my life. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Jethro Tull energies, virtually a rebirth. This album has some very good songs like Fat Man and Life Is A Sing Song. IF you love Jethro Tull, ‘The Best Of Acoustic Jethro Tull’ Mp3’s is the best!
I’ve found myself listening to Life Is A Sing Song back to back and back many times. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Wond’Ring Aloud is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Jethro Tull released so far. Vocals of Jethro Tull in Thick As A Brick really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Skating Away (On The Thin Ice Of A New Day) is a gorgeous, simple song by Jethro Tull at the top of his game. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. One White Duck - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Salamander because the melody in the chorus is so good. I believe Jack In The Green is one of the most astounding, heartfelt songs ever written. Velvet Green is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. In Dun Ringill you won’t find any flashy solos. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Listening to Jack A Lynn you can hear that Jethro Tull has still amazing chemistry with band members. You can find feelings on this piece of art. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Broadford Bazaar. Music in Water Carrier is amazing as in all tracks of The Best Of Acoustic Jethro Tull. Rupi’s Dance catches attention immediately, Christmas Song is such a gorgeous and optimistic song that things can get just better. Weathercock one is one of the better boring ones. Nice and different song. Pastime With Good Company is a fine track on any terms.
