On Extreme Behavior album, Hinder have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Extreme Behavior isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This disc has all of the essential Hinder classics. This is what good Rock should be.
How Long is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with By the Way. Nothin’ Good About Goodbye - Check out that bassline! Bliss (I Don’t Wanna Know) has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Hinder’s strong vocals come to the fore. In Better Than Me the music gets its power. Room 21 is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Lips of an Angel, which shows, blatantly, how much Hinder has evolved as a singer. Homecoming Queen is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Shoulda is astounding work of Hinder.
