Nice and different song. Chump which is my favorite is a truly Green Day sounding song. Long View stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Welcome To Paradise is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Dookie is Pulling Teeth. Basket Case actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Green Day’s face. Green Day is one of artists that allow his songs like She to stand on their own and be heard. The song Sassafras Roots ending is my favorite… so catchy! When I listen to When I Come Around in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Coming Clean without a doubt is the standout song of Dookie. This track is full of harmonies and gets Dookie off to a relaxing start. It took me a little time but I ended up loving In The End. F.o.d. has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Green Day’s strong vocals come to the fore.
