It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Gorillaz energies, virtually a rebirth. This is the first studio album from Gorillaz since bad diagnosis in 2001. Since Gorillaz last CD (Gorillaz) on Columbia Records back in 2001, I have felt a massive void in my life. IF you love Gorillaz, ‘Gorillaz’ Mp3’s is the best!
5/4 Five Four is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Tomorrow Comes Today. New Genious(Brother) actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Gorillaz’s face. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. The song Man Research(Clapper) ending is my favorite… so catchy! I love the melodic melody of Punk and to this day it makes me feel good. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Gorillaz is Sound Check(Gravity). Double Bass the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Gorillaz. 19-2000 is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Latin Simone(Que Pasa Contigo) is probably one of Gorillaz’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Slow Country - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Gorillaz sings M1 A1 in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved.
