three years ago, Good The Bad And The Queen briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “80s Life”. After seeing History Song, I had to have a good Good The Bad And The Queen cd. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Good The Bad And The Queen energies, virtually a rebirth. If you love Good The Bad And The Queen as much as I do, then Good The Bad And The Queen The Good the Bad and the Queen is the CD for you!
80s Life is a strong cut, one of many. In Northern Whale you won’t find any flashy solos. Kingdom Of Doom is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Behind The Sun. A great put together song. Still going through The Good the Bad and the Queen and coming to appreciate Nature Springs more and more with every listen. A Soldier’s Tale is another favourite of mine. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in The Good the Bad and the Queen. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Green Fields. The Good, The Bad And The Queen is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations.
