After debuting at No. 1 last week, Garth Brooks’s album The Hits falls to No. 2 with 978,000, a sales slide of 67%. I am not a real Folk music type of person, but i have to admit ‘The Hits’ really is amazing. Now signed to Garth Brooks’s Mute Records, the title track from second album “The Hits” leads Garth Brooks’s back-to-school campaign. The Hits is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Friends In Low Places - A catchy, upbeat tune. Callin’ Baton Rouge which is my favorite is a truly Garth Brooks sounding song. The River is a perfect, simple song by Garth Brooks at the top of his game. Much Too Young (To Feel This Damn Old) (2:58) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! The Thunder Rolls is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Garth Brooks ever produced. Charming song, great melody. If Tomorrow Never Comes is one of the best records ever. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. What She’s Doing Now is such a exquisite and optimistic song that things can get just better. We Shall Be Free makes a person feel amazing. Papa Loved Mama is perfect. Shameless as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Blew our minds when we first heard Two Of A Kind, Workin’ On A Full House. That Summer catches attention immediately, The Dance very upbeat.
