On There Is Nothing Left To Lose album, Foo Fighters have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Since completing 1999’s ‘Stacked Actors’, Foo Fighters fulfilled their contract with Capitol Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Foo Fighters was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Foo Fighters and There Is Nothing Left To Lose together. Foo Fighters is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Breakout is almost impossible to review. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in There Is Nothing Left To Lose. Gimme Stitches is Foo Fighters’s best work in years. Generator is a medium tempo tune. Aurora is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Live-In Skin is a very catchy tune. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. This song is dynamic and dramatic. A great put together song. M.I.A. is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction.
