Now signed to Eminem’s Mute Records, the title track from second album “Curtain Call: The Hits” leads Eminem’s back-to-school campaign. Since Eminem last CD (Curtain Call: The Hits) on Mute Records back in 2006, I have felt a massive void in my life. There is so much to love about Eminem, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Last Hot Album by Eminem
FACK is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Once The Way I Am gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Although My Name Is is very melodic it is far from sad. The sound of Stan (Feat. Dido) is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Lose Yourself - arguably the best track on Curtain Call: The Hits album. Shake That (Feat. Nate Dogg) - For me, this is the best of the album. In Sing For The Moment full palet of sound is used by Eminem to accentuate the presentation. Music of Without Me is gentle, never overbearing. Like Toy Soldiers is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Such hits like The Real Slim Shady will leave you hooked. Mockingbird is probably one of Eminem’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Lyrics of Guilty Conscience (Feat. Dr. Dre) are precise and evocative. After about the third Cleanin’ Out My Closet listen through, I began to believe this song is Eminem’s essence. Just Lose It actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Eminem’s face. Listening to When I’m Gone you can hear that Eminem has still amazing chemistry with band members. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Stan (Live; Feat. Elton John), which shows, blatantly, how much Eminem has evolved as a singer.
