Since Dream Theater last CD (Systematic Chaos) on Mute Records back in 2007, I have felt a massive void in my life. On Systematic Chaos album, Dream Theater have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Dream Theater on ‘In the Presence Of Enemies-Part I’. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Dream Theater ever.
In Forsaken Dream Theater spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Constant Motion very upbeat. First time I heard The Dark Eternal Night was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Repentance is one of these floating songs. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Prophets Of War. The Ministy Of Lost Souls is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor.
