It has been three years Dr. Dre’ last studio CD, “2001″ which won Array Academy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Dr. Dre’s debut, ‘2001′, does not fit easily into one genre. 2001 carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like 2001.
The Watcher is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Dr. Dre has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Still D.R.E. can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Dr. Dre is all about. Don’t judge Big Egos on the first listening. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. First time I heard What’s The Difference was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Bar One is so unique, as each one of the songs is. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Some of the arrangements found on 2001 are surprisingly edgy. The Next Episode - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Let’s Get High as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. The sound in The Car Bomb is really warm and Dr. Dre’s signature voice is still very much present. All of songs on 2001 and have something to say letting alone Murder Ink. Ed - Ucation is worth the money. In Some L.A. Niggaz full palet of sound is used by Dr. Dre to accentuate the presentation. Pause 4 Porno is another strong production from Dr. Dre. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Ackrite on 2001 is solid and easy to listen to. Bang Bang is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. The Message is one of the best records ever.
